I start watching it until the summer before it was going into the final season. I watched it on Netflix and managed to catch up to it so that I could watch the final season as it was on. It sounds like a lot to catch up on, since there were 8 seasons, but you can knock 3 episodes out in an hour since without commercials they're each only about 20 mins.

It's really not that bad, it's just not what they wanted. I thought it was fine. Talk about a terrible ending of a show and it's Lost. Lost was great for a few seasons and then just died. The Office had a pretty good ending. Breaking Bad had a good one. TWD will apparently never end.
