I have a 102 year old grandmother. They put a pacemaker in her when she was 93. It wasn't in HER best interest: she has been miserable ever since.

Doctors need to change their thinking so that life isn't valued purely for life. It's quality of life that's way more important.

I love the idea of Reinhart as our #3 Center and I hate the possibility that we might not be able to afford him and Eichel when the time comes. I know contracts will be faling off the books, but I would be bummed to see us just start to get rolling and then have a Penguins Crosby/Malkin/Stall situation on our hands.
Regardless, looking ahead to better days for the Sabres.

They'll make it work, the core isn't going anywhere. But guys like Ennis and Kane will be shipped out to save money if that ever comes down to it. We have to face the fact that we'll need to be just like Chicago or Pitt in the cap aspect, 70% of the cap goes to the core and the rest gets spent on guys on ELC. This will be why it will be so important to keep our farm system healthy and pumping out plug and play prospects. In 3-4 years when guys like Bailey, Fashing, and Bap who will be most likely on our 3-4th lines want 3-4 million per season, they'll be sent packing.

If we end up with Reinhart as our #3 center then we have an excellent team. However, this isn't in our immediate future, maybe 2 or 3 years down the road. For now, I think Reinhart remains on Jack's hip and the two of them will doing their thing for the next year or two.

Also, why is it so quiet on the Risto front? I wasn't concerned until now. First exhibition game tomorrow and our #1 (rightly or wrongly) isn't signed.

If I would've left the Bills defense in I would've won. How's that for irony?

I outscored my projected points by 14 and the guy I played against outscored his by 35, I lost by 11. Jordy Nelson and Jameis Winston killed me. My RBs finally give me a good week, 42.5 combined points is really really good for my league 4 rushing TDs really help, and I scored the 3rd most points in the league and still lost. Bad luck can eat a Richard.
