The focus should be on getting Risto signed for a good number, anything 6 or more is joke. 4-5 a year seems fair.

That's the thing though, he has been used in a top 4 role. He averaged 22 min a night over the past few years which ranked him 35th or something.

I think he just wants out of the city because they already paid Buff franchise D money

Winnipeg has Buff, Myers, Trouba on their right side. Trouba wants out of the peg because of money and playing time, as he is stuck as a third pairing guy on the right side. If, we trade them Reinhart, we make a hole in our top 6 and lose a great up and coming young star, but we do gain a good young defenseman who will unfortunately be on the third line behind Risto and Bogo. Maybe Trouba can be swapped to the middle pairing and Bogo moved to the bottom pairing, but who the heck wants a 4.5 million dollar defenseman in Bogo on the bottom pair? If we trade for Trouba, essentially we'll be solving Winnipeg's problem and creating the exact same problem here, Trouba still won't be happy. Have we already solved one of Winnipeg's problems and created a headache for us when we traded for Kane?
