it was a 2 part deal according to the insider beat guys. Avs would only do Lindholm for Landy if they were getting draisaitl for Barrie.

They wouldn't do 1 without the other...then a by product of that would be more cap space going into UFA and probably going after Radulov for their Top 6

he is nowhere near an all star

it's a long term deal (5-6 mil per) or a bridge deal around 3 and change

The two situations are completly different. Risto is our #1 D man. Trouba is their 3rd best right dman , he wants to be top 2 (right side dman).

Trouba would stay in Winnipeg if they trade Myers or Big Buff. But that does not seem to be what they want to do. (rumors are he would sign then)

Risto just wants too much money right now, hopefully we dont over pay. Murray does not seem to be a guy to over pay (besides Moulson, but that was FA so a bit different).

OK, whatever. So the situations are completely different. Risto wants to play here to get larger minutes (and he is RFA), but Trouba wants to play more.

In NHL 17 last night I traded for Trouba + Jets 1st (2017) for Franson + Gorges + Buffalo 1st (2017). Done deal! lol
