No hinting so far, it's more perceived as a good faith move, plus Risto is a serious sunva betch when it comes to working out and practice. Most guys would/are holding out, he wants to get out there regardless of a contract. Confidence it will get done, but no news saying it's even close. |

Big take away:
I'm told that media reports suggesting that the Sabres and Camp Risto are at odds over AAV. There is a report of a six year deal at $4.5M AAV. I'm told that the deal is more in the six year term with an AAV of $6M to $6.5M.
The migrations of the bedouin don't wander as extensively as the grammar in that first sentence. |

Came in here to wish you all good luck tonight, and hopefully its a bit cleaner than the Scott/Kessel debacle (won't even mention Clarkson)
That said, I can't be the only one here who sees the irony in a bunch of Sabres fans complaining in various ways about all the Auston Matthews talk, all the while not realizing that they are, in fact, talking about Auston Matthews and perpetuating the very thing they are complaining about.
Hope Eichel plays tomorrow so we can see the showdown! |
