I don't think Fasching makes it, at least not over Bailey. they're both big bodies but Bailey is faster and has shown an extended period of looking like a quality player in the AHL. Also I think Fasching benefits more from time in the AHL than Bailey does.

FWIW I think both start in the AHL and we start with a very vanilla roster with COR in the lineup and Deslauries as the extra or vice versa. An injury will be the open door for one of them.

We could have done much a better job of picking up a goalie this off season. There were a ton of good names out there for not much money. I am concerned about Nilsson carrying the load if Lehner gets hurt

if Lehner goes down, Ullmark will be the starter and Nilsson will still be backup. IMO

You're worried about your #1 goalie getting hurt. Most teams aren't great when their number 1 goes down. It happened last year with Chad Johnson, who had the exact same numbers as Nilson on the same team 1 year apart, and we were 16th in GA. This year with Nilson and Ullmark we'll be fine. Not to mention that's still if Lehner goes down. He plays 50-60 games all this concern and talk is for nothing. Not to mention if it gets to the point where you lose Lehner for an extended period of time there are options as far as getting a goalie is concerned.

I see maybe 3 injuries in there. The top two are the same injury, even if they are months apart, and items 3 & 4 are the same injury.

Not sure what the undisclosed injury was in December of 14-15 was. So that's 3 injuries.

The bottom item for Personal Reasons could have been a death in the family or something, 99% positive it probably wasn't an injury.

Sure, but that's already done. I'm talking about moving forward. The thought that we're in a dire situation or any situation at all because of our backup is wrong. There's a much bigger hole in the top 6 or on the defense if they want something to worry about.

Any goalie we could have gotten runs the same risk of sucking . Regardless of how much we would have too pay them. I don't want to be paying 6mil again.. That miller has moved on.
