You missed the point... He has been playing in NA conditions since junior, he just isn't a top quality player plain and simple.
- NorthNuck

actually no I didnt. Look again at the dialog. I was speaking in general about ANY player selected, not him specifically.

Dull but accurate

Actually it's not accurate. Burrows is left wing and Dorsett right wing.

tree likely came in too heavy. He was listed as 268 instead of 240.
JV also came in 20-30 heavier.

Both likely just need conditioning stints.

Hopefully management sticks to their deal with the fans: "we will play who deserves to olay"
Sbisa deserve 15 more games, Etem should be gone, and Trym should be demoted. Burrow should get 10 games and then the demotion if he doesn't improve. Rutuu deserves a contract, Stecher deserves a spot, Larsen or Pedna should get 10 but you can only give one the games so make a tough choice and demote pedan, Gaunce should get 10games, JV can Rehab in AHL, Granlund will get a long look.

In my heart I would prefer pedan too not least of all because of that awesome fight but the new organisers made a big investment in Larsen so I imagine he sticks for 10. I agree he hasnt done anything great but I think there could be more upside also. I am sure the Maple Laughs are watching our waiver wire like their tweener twitter feeds

I have been pleasantly surprised with Lebate. He deserves to be here more than the PTOs . The PTOs deserve to be here more than Burrows based on this years camp , but Burrows will win out because of history.

Rendulic has been a nice surprise also. We cannot forget Gaunce .

What was the big investment . We lose a fourth rounder . We never have success with fourth rounders. If it was a fifth rounder I would be all over JB. We do our best shopping at 5 , even more than our first

I agree with lebate, he has really showed he should be given a legit shot in the nhl, size, showed toughness, speed, abilty to score, what more do we need on a fourth line center. Gaunce-Labate-Ruutu....who cares about burrows and dorsett

You had to say it didn't you.

If gibbons was smart he would have started Liriano in the 4th. Instead he has Biagini warming up.

As long as its muscle weight not mcdonalds that seems like a good thing no?

or booze weight lol.

if its muscle it depends. Seems like its a good thing IF its needed weight and will help out...if its just excess weight on his frame even though its muscle it can slow you down. Just seems to be how it goes. It's also possible it takes his heart a bit of time to learn how to push that weight that quickly.

Hockey guys are usually pretty thin.
