I don't know how they improved? Hall is better than Lucic. Yak is better than a third rounder.
Caguilla and Jesse look very decent but need to see them preform first . - VANTEL
4th rounder. |

That's because you're not very good at this - LeftCoaster
We will see this year. I believe you said Gudbrandson is Dillon 2.0 and Sutter is not that good. Let the games begin. |

Indeed a tough job to clean up someone else's mess. And so far he is doing a terrible job also. - VANTEL
In the long run, next three years, I think you'll see them being much better because of these moves. People female dog because they're not winning and finishing last all the time so they bite the bullet and take less than face value for two guys and now everyone is laughing? WTF...they can't have it both ways! |

No he wont ever be that type. You either have the eye for tactical play or you dont. He doesnt which many of us (yourself included) can easily see |

Well they have been at it for a decade and they are still no closer. So much for the slow and steady theory.
BTW the Leafs look like doormats too this year. Another tank team. |

If Russell is that good how come no one too him sooner.
Tanev > Larsen - VANTEL
He's one of the best shot blocking defence man in the NHL. The Oilers D sucked last year just like ours. Larsson & Russell has made them better. |

That's a fair comparison, I like Dillon. As for Sutter, I didn't say he sucks, he's good defensively and on the dot, he's just not a good choice as a second line center because he's not a good puck distributor. |

I'm not either. Granted he was dealing with injuries and youth last year, but he seems get out coached. - VanHockeyGuy
yes, on a nightly basis. And he got totally schooled badly by Hartley of all coaches. watch him step down instead of being canned. |

Don't start with the Leafs talk, Walshy will be here before you know it lol. But I do agree, they're finishing last no question |

Winning the lotto and drafting Nolan Patrick. Book it.

He is not playing second line center. Granlund played second line center last game. His puck distribution looks pretty good this year.
Including Gaunce Canucks have 5 centres that have looked very decent this year.
I wouldn't even be surprised to see a twenty game Strech of Sutter with the twins. |

No....they're American meatheads who just read Twitter. I think the Canucks finish bottom ten because I guarantee the injuries pile up again. If they could stay healthy, they'd be a bubble team. |

Ya I like that they have some options, not great ones but at least they have them. To me Bo is a better offensive player than Sutter already, he's just struggling defensively. But that'll come....hopefully. |

Funny how it's almost a unanimous with EA Sports, Bookies etc. Football over/unders are usually pretty close, not sure about hockey but I will keep an eye on this. |

Totally agree, a lot riding on the twins again. Hank looked rough at times last year. The good news is there is a bit more depth on D. Still need secondary scoring especially if one of the twins go down. |

Hank still looks rough IMO. Danny looks fine. Even injured Hank still brings game.
The east coast media and American sports writers look at Canucks as an aging falling apart team. Half of the writers have not seen Canucks play more than 10 times.
I think Canucks are a well rounded NHL team that will have 82-88 points this year and not the predicted 63 points of EA Sports prediction. |

True, but the canucks are more likely to have a lot of injuries due to travel, schedule, and aging core of players. |

The bookies suggest otherwise. If this is so out to lunch then it's a good opportunity to make some money. No? |
