I would be okay with this. I have been quite impressed with Skille. As you have said many times though Virtanen brings a game that this team has been lacking so don't count him out from being in the line up.

Virtanen needs top 9 minutes, he's not going to get it in the NHL, not while WD is HC. Better for him to go to Utica and play top line minutes and in all situations and be the guy for 15-20 games then he can be our first call-up. I don't want Virtanen to be the 4th line banger/13th forward, it's a waste of his talent.

I thought so too yesterday but it wasn't a good sign that WD stopped playing him in the third last night

Was Stecher and Sbisa paired together last night? I think their style's of play would compliment each other well. Just curious how they looked together.

I only worry about it ruining his confidence after playing a full season in the NHL. Not including the WHC.
