I do find it funny that Flame fans think their team is so much better than ours when you beat us by two points last year and the year before we beat you by four. These are two teams very similar records . There is no bragging rights.

Hate to play devils advocate here but.

That better year you refer to Calgary downright embarrassed us in the playoffs followed by a year in which they did, as you note, beat us in the regular standings.

They have a younger, quicker, more up-and-coming team where-as we are, realistically, currently stuck in purgatory.

Other then their lack of perceived goaltending depth, Calgary is much better positioned at forward and D, both in NHL and prospect depth.

As painful as it is, there isn't really any denying it lol.

We know we weren't built for the playoffs because before that we won one game in I believe three attempts.

Calgary is not a playoff team either , I don't recall them winning too many playoff games last year. In fact their playoff record last year was identical to Canucks.

Guys like you that just think this is the worst franchise in the history of hockey make me laugh.

We have Burrows Miller and the twins left and you call them old. Maybe check your facts about the age of the club compared to others. We have 14 players under 28 .
