I think they have to be compliant by 2pm tomorrow but im unsure if that also means players waived have to pass through waiver period before that time. It would mean maybe they have a couple hours to waive still? *shrugs*

The next couple of hours could be fun... or maybe Vantel's right, and the poop has already hit the fan.

Either way, I appreciate the NHL starting free agency on Canada Day, and the waiver deadline / roster freeze on Canadian Thanksgiving. Gives us something to talk about while our neighbors to the south are at work.

The other pool I play in is rotessirie style and I think I have a great team. We are allowed 3C, 3LW, 3RW, 4D, 2UTIL, 2G, 3BENCH

Ended up with:

We cover a range of stat categories though so you have to have a balance of almost everything.

However, trades are still possible. For example, Virtanen and Etem for E. Kane would reduce the Canucks roster by 1. Not saying this trade will happen. Just an example.
