We've been to the playoffs in the last 10 years. So that seems to be a bit of an exaggeration.

Besides, it's practice. No need to panic. It's not a bad idea to get guys comfortable in different situations even if you don't plan on having to use them that way in a game environment.

As much as I love Pegula, he and Murray sort of screwed themselves by paying big money to almost everyone that asked for it.

I think in ristos case the problem is they traded for contracts that were paid by someone else. If Bogo, Franson and Gorges are all making what they actually deserve, risto doesn't have as much leverage.

What's he supposed to do, cave and give Risto 6+? He's my favourite player on this team, but if hes not willing to bring his ask down its time to look for other options. You can't drop points early on in the season because of this
