So no Moulson resurgence like we were all hoping? I heard he looked good in the first couple pre-season games

Grant certainly earned his spot piling up points pre-season play. Nelson looked strong on the back end. Fasching didn't look out of place at all. But if Po-Po and ROR are healthy enough to play, and he gets sent to Roch, that not an injustice.

Al Ny going to Roch is perfect, I think. Hopefully enjoying success on a north american rink is good for the confidence. He'll get his shot soon enough.
It's too bad Guhle can't go to Rochester yet. His skating is top notch, but maybe a little more time for physical maturation ain't a bad thing.

I'm ok with it . They have talent . just need to prove the Nah sayers wrong.

We are the Sabres so our players are not worth a damn anyways .

Moulson takes Fasching's spot if he is sent down which I think is probable. Moulson did look better in the two games I saw of him, but it all hinges on Fasching. I don't think that if Fasching is on this team that he is ever in the press box. Grant for Moulson perhaps, but I think that Grant has earned a spot until he proves it was a flash in the pan.

Only other tweek I see that could happen (and I for one hope it does) I hope Nelson beats out Franson for the last spot. I think he and Gorges would be a good bottom pairing and I saw a lot more Nelson shots getting through on the PP.

Grant is the only one that will have to clear going down. He make a point for himself and make it tough in the pressbox once the others are healthy.

What do we have to be negative about tonight? Are we going to say that the team can't be any good without ROR and OK in the lineup?

I'm reminded of that story about filling a jar with Golf balls, dried peas, and sand, and it feels like the complainers are left with just the sand.

I love it how these writers are saying the Sabres will finish below the Leafs, we could win the cup and still get no respect. But then again, these Canadian writers mean nothing to me. Nobody at ESPN has a clue about the Sabres let alone the NHL.
