Not quite gushing. I should have clarified to be honest. If Davidson continues his develop growth on the same pace as last year, we could see him play some, keyword some, top 4 minutes at the most. That would be wonderful for us.

As for Nurse, sure he didn't have a great season last year, but it was by no means a tire fire. He has also had a very strong pre-season this year, so I might be accounting that in play. Guy has two cups, close to 90 million in earnings so far, not including endorsements, and plenty of international success.

Look at Mario....when he left in the mid 90's, his " love" for hockey was being questioned, just because he put his health first.

Honestly it sucks since we are having the prime years of the best player of a generation being robbed from us

Injury depth wise, he definitely would provide us with the ability to actually give us depth when it comes to the top 4 role and that cannot be ignored even to the slighted. Damage wise, having him even on the top 6 will definitely give us leverage when it comes to the options available, so yes, you are right in a way as well.

Also, I'm really looking forward to see him be utilized in a PK unit this season as well.

It all depends on how he develops this year. He can play lights out or he could slow down development wise and fit in perfectly as a top 6 defender who can be depended upon in case of injuries.

It's all tied in. Since he feels like he cannot help out his family, not to mention the people who once looked up to him for guidance and help are all gone, the player will feel vulnerable, worthless, and weak. So yeah, being 50 years old and a complete potato brain would be hell on earth, but in many different ways.
