A great way to improve is to stay healthy and also to win more games. Something tells me the Oilers have a 50 50 chance at this. Could be a game changer if true.

Mathews could have an outstanding career and his accomplishments will probably be closer to jim dowds than Mark Messiers

Thanks for the insight. Who would have ever thought all that wisdom could be trapped in the pea brain of a flames fan?

I apologize, I also forgot about making great trades and signing an excellent defenseman that was available for 100 days. The key in life is staying positive. I look forward to a lot of blocked shots and a high time of possession in the defensive zone.

I'm sure you meant to tell us how great the FLames have been this past 10 years, and how they are not just the Maple Leafs west, before you got side tracked by your feeble troll attempt .

So where you trading johnny to when he demands it anyway?

It's no surprise some of our best posters are arguing as we're all pretty fed up and really have no clear idea what's it's gonna take to get better. Especially since chiarellis kind of taken a clear stance on big changes to what we originally saw with this team at its best, and went in another direction

ANd we're all (frank)ing terrified of another bottom feeder finish. And the worst part that we all know it's well within the realm of possibility to put it mildly

All it takes some serious injuries to Western superstars and Edmonton is laughing.

Love this strategy

Bank on major injuries to kopitar, tarasenko and Kane And we're good to go

Some would say this is shortsighted, but I like to gamble ...

So a 1st pick overall will be closer to some guy drafted in the 8th round than to Mark Messier....I see you are really putting your brain to good use today

I'd say Yakupov is closer to beer league players than he is to Messier.

Maybe...but that was after watching him. Now that i've seen Matthews for a few games...I'd lean towards him be 1,000,000 better than Jim (frank)ing Dowd.

He certainly has looked impressive, but then again so did Magnus Paajarvi in his rookie year's preseason. That being said, I doubt the same will occur.

Oh boy, Griffith is also on waivers! Regardless of if Pulkkinen gets picked up or not, Griffith would be an equally solid choice.
