The Colorado defense is still not great. If Grigs and Rantanen are putting good numbers this season, I would like to see them trading Duchene or Landy for a blue chip defender.

I don't see that happening now. With Roy leaving, it brought Landy and duchene and barrie time. I believe the d is better today than last year, it has size, speed, skill depth and most importantly new coaching. The avs seem to be finally done giving big money to free agents from other teams and are building within. We still have bigras to come this year, and will be a fixture here next year. Siemens could be resigned but looked pretty good. So if gelly and wierco don't work we look to with to fill voids. Granted I still think we are a top 6 winger away from been wild card pushing to top 3 in division pushing, but Greer looks good, jost and Morrison are looking like great picks as well.
