Well first, he(Murray) got a contract extension and second see my post above. He also went on to say, yeah, he's getting help, blah blah blah, but overall he was positive, which I'd expect nothing else. But was still funny.

the thinking be those two firsts will be worth less than 17 ad 18 i assume? I dunno I think hes worth way more than that and unless you're giving up a core player you're the obvious winner in any deal for him. He really is that good.

I figured he'd be extended, but I don't get the rush. What, would Murray like refuse to scout players or make trades without an extension?

Yes.

I totally agree, he's probably worth the 4 1sts. But the opportunity cost just isn't worth it to acquire him for his actual value. If that makes any sense.
