I have been there a few times, it's a great building, like it a lot. It's really not that bad of a location other than it's in the middle of nowhere, no mass transit to speak of.

The Sawgrass Mall is like right across the street but other than that the area is a poop show.

It's off a highway that has the everglades on the other side, 10 miles inland from Ft. Lauderdale

With the exception of the Dolphins, that is a front-running town. If the teams do well, they show up. If they don't, they don't show up. Maybe the word hasn't got out yet that the Panthers don't suck anymore.

I don't want to come across as a McIlrath hater, because I really want to see the kid succeed. With that said, I don't think I ever seen a more stark case of "everyone loves the backup quarterback" as I've seen with McIlrath. He doesn't play for a reason. He is at this point in his career for a reason. Could he do better elsewhere? Maybe. But, I am also not invested in him enough to question the coach's decision. Pure and simple -- AV doesn't seem to care for him much, and at this point, you have to wonder whether that is ever going to change.

Ya I see your point I just feel for him. Would be best for him and the team to get a fresh start somewhere else. Just will be very aggravating if (and thats a huge IF) he gets a chance somewhere else and puts it all together. Cause to me when he actually got more than just one game here and one there that he actually built on those starts and showed he could play

Maybe my info is a little dated on this. Went to college with a bunch of kids from Miami, and they were hardcore about the Dolphins and always said that was the one team that people would show up for no matter what.

Look at the Miami Hurricanes. That used to be the biggest ticket in town. Now you couldn't give away tickets to their games (although this year they are doing well).

My buddy and his wife live in Ft. Lauderdale and have said the Seminole casino is one giant (frank)ing dangerous dump.
