That's probably it. I got both my cats from the SPCA, and growing up we got 2 dogs from there.
When I got my 2nd cat I knew I wanted to get another one, because sometimes cats on their own don't do well, but wasn't specifically looking and I was at Pet Smart and as I looked at the cats they had there from the SPCA there was one who was meowing and pawing at the glass while the rest pretty much ignored me. I couldn't resist. Best impulsive decision I ever made. - Wetbandit1

The Sabres 1st period was the most uninspired I've seen. Dump and chase and never come up with the puck. Worst team in the league. Toronto looks good with 11 rookies in the lineup. - sippyd
did they re-hire Nolan?...and...
beware of young teams and fast starts...the more they play, the more teams have on them...
that said, they sure have some young talent on toronto |

I have had three strays in my life and always wondered what their past was like.
I guess it is better not to know. That makes me mad people would treat an animal like that.
But it makes sense as to how much they love a forever home. My current cat is a save by me. - rmiethaner
There's more horror stories about her but I said I didn't want to hear them. Much worse than what I did hear. It took her a long time to calm down. She wanted to kill me.

I know most cats don't like to be pet on the top of the head, my one cat loves it, he always pushes up into my hand, like stands on his hind legs, when I pet him on top of the head, but my other cat for about a year after I got her every time my hand got anywhere near her face her ears went down and she pulled her head into her body like she was about to be hit. It really pissed me off, she's better now, but she's still not thrilled about it. She's super sneaky and gets into stuff now and then, but she's a cat FFS, that's what they do, and most of the time it's my fault for leaving something out. She was licking my turkey sandwich the other day right next to me and I didn't realize she was doing it. |

it's way too early to jump to conclusions...buffalo was without some key players and o'reilly isn't 100%
is this an excuse?...the team will say no, but in the very least it's a fact |

Haha, That's funny. Once I was watching a hockey game, a pp, and eating a bowl of cereal. When I looked down my other cat was eating my cereal.

I'm sure it's everything. But it still was a disappointment. Then the only fast one left goes down. Gonna be a difficult couple of months watching this team. Curious who is the #2 player pegged for 2017. Even if we are last we'll never win the lottery. That sucks too.

Eichel is great, but injuries happen to every team.
I mean, Kane and Okposo each miss time every season they play almost. You have to bank on playing without them for stretches.
Yes, this is awful, typical, Buffalo luck. But if we are good, we will overcome them.

idk about finishing last, sip...this team started last season out 3-7 and 8-10-2 in the first 20 games before eventually turning the corner later in the season...
that said the openers was a complete downer save for some individual performances--Foligno (like your mentioned,) Lehner and McCabe come to mind |

we'll see...my mark for them is to come out with more points in the first 20 games this year than last, which was 18 |

It was in my peripheral vision too, but she's so damn quiet. Eventually I heard her tongue on the turkey that was poking out of the sandwich. So I cut it off and gave it to her.
Right when I first got my first cat he was young, ~3 months or so, and he still wasn't great at the litter box and would occasionally step in his poop while covering it up. One time I had just heated up some left over Kung Pao chicken, extra spicy with extra oil and pepper flakes, it was super spicy. It was awesome. And all of a sudden I smell poop. So I went and sure enough, little poop covered paw prints on the tile, so I grabbed him cleaned off his paw and was cleaning the floor and when I went back in to eat he was up there chowing down like there was no tomorrow. wiener. lol. I'm convinced to this day 3 years later that that was his plan all along. |

The problem now is they're all hurt at once, without one of them at different times is able to be overcome, but all out at once is just brutal. And ROR is far from healthy as well. Our top 4 forwards are either out long term or playing hurt. And likely our 3rd best d-man will come back and play hurt for a while too. Brutal, brutal luck. |

Yuck, poop feet. I'm glad I didn't have that with mine. I kept one of the babies and she litter trained herself at just 3 weeks old. Now she's twice as big as her mother. |
