Then you have to go to the video. How could the other ref know when he was going to blow the whistle? That should have been a good goal, there was nothing wrong with it other than the whistle, so I'm not too broken up about it. It's just the inconsistency of it that bothers me.
- Wetbandit1

So whistle blew it was no goal. Then without reviewing it they changed to a goal? Is that right?

He's gonna be fine and as the season progresses he'll get more comfortable with his teammates and coaches.

Still not sure where they play him. Assuming you're adding another lefty one of mccabe/kulikov get bottom pair minutes?

Sure, just like when Obama was taking them away?

I am a rare Combination of a liberal hippy dem and
CardCarrying member of the NRA. I think some form of gun control is beneficial, and I recognize that obama didn't take our guns away, any more than any other American politician could. However, permit processing has gotten very slow in the last eight years, and its gotten hard - and expensive - to find ammo.

Meh, was just pointing out how it's a constant scare tactic, causes quite the profit spikes for manufacturers.

I remember hearing Democrats saying how Bush jr was gonna change crap and serve more than his 2 terms, then hear the same crap from the other side with Obama...people just like to spew and believe any old junk.

If you are looking at just this year I would put Kuli with Risto. If we re-sign him I'm fine with him in the top 4. McCabe is versatile enough to play in the top 4 but could also be very effective as a 5/6 guy when we shore up the D in a few years.

Wheatfield . Friend got his 6months ago. took 6 months . I need to get it moving before it hits the Hitlarry snag
- cabin

There's a Wheatfield police department? I meant which jurisdiction are you in? NT are lazy (frank)s, but the Sheriffs might be more on top of it, doubt it, but it's possible.

I just figured McCabe taking that top 4 role, especially at a favourable cap hit.

For this year i agree long term though i dont know, always figured mccabe in the top 4. especially with an eventual cap crunch him being on a favourable cap hit is valuable. Maybe you bring in a righty?

Kulikov-Risto

McCabe-New guy

have risto and the new guy split up, even out the ice time.

Crazy world we live in. We now review offsides several minutes after they occurred but don't review a whistle on a goal that just went in. And people are constantly talking politics in a hockey thread.

I was surprised at how many tall buildings they had there, though admittedly my only "knowledge" of Calgary is that they have a big rodeo there (or whatever them damn cowboys do). Must be some decently sized corporate headquarters there.

The way the D is now there are guys that can slot in and out of the top 4.

For the future you would have to think Guhle and Nelson will be part of it. Finding the right d partner for Risto will be important. They are pretty thin on the blue line with the prospects. Maybe another big UFA signing next year.

It can get exasperating at times. Can't it? And a bit like you're losing your mind? Or is that just me?

That's partly because the demand for them has skyrocketed and the same number of people are processing them, so it's going to take longer.

But you can still walk into any gun store and buy a rifle or shotgun and walk out with it 10 minutes later. Just so long as you can pass the pitiful background check. It's a very odd feeling walking out with a gun just minutes after you pick one out.

That's because nut jobs hoard all of it. I've seen videos on YT where people brag that they have 3 million rounds of .22LR. Like seriously, WTF are you going to do with 3 million rounds of .22LR? They wait in line at the store on the day they get their shipment and buy all of it right when they open. And then re-sell it online for a huge markup.

Gander usually has some pretty good sales on .556 though. It's not exactly match ammo, but it'll get the job done.

Yep, just like it's a "rigged election". It was rigged when he was getting all those votes too though don't forget.

When Gander opened they had 50 round boxes of 22lr for a buck a box. I got 1 and it shot out my 10/22 just fine . So I bought 10 more boxes. I have 2 left.

I bought a box of 525 Remington goldens when I bought my 10/22 for like $30. Still have maybe 80 left. Man does that gun get dirty after relatively few shots.
