If you could add Trouba, Fowler or Lindholm to this mix, it would be interesting.

I legit think we inquired about trouba and chevy straight up told us we have nothing of d value to even get the convo started, they want a 1-3 d man and we don't really have many of those personally, hence why we'd inquire about trouba... But still that's what they want and we can't really provide that.
Fowler really seems like the most feasible solution, I really think Moore, Boucher, and a 2nd and us taking stoner as well is a homerun for anaheim but it seems they don't mind this game of chicken with lindholm enough to make that deal. Or who knows if it was even proposed, but this situation is already pretty bad so I'd think anaheim is still looking for a kings ransom for fowler.
A Lindholm offer sheet would be dirty but honestly... If we offered him max term with 7.5.... Don't you think Anaheim just moves on? They have a ton of defensive depth, and yea Lindholm is by far there best, but it's not like they NEED a guy of his caliber when they can roll 6 very skilled dmen with vatanen, fowler, theodre, larsson, manson, and bieksa (obv bieksa issnt great but hes a nice 6th compared to other 5) so I'd say that honestly wouldn't be a terrible idea. Who knows if lindholm is worth that money but if fowler cant be done it's not like we are using that space for much else and it would seriously fix a serious hole in a great way. Thing is, I feel like forcing anaheim's hand doesn't do much for it. Maybe some other east team overpays as we make the offersheet and they match, and who cares if press anaheim's cap? We see them twice a year.... And I think it would make trading with anaheim difficult in the future.
Apparently McIlrath is available, I like him.... If only he wasn't a ranger... A team we've never traded with and will never trade with for eternity, but man I bet they'd trade him for virtually nothing and I like his game.
