Yah and comments like "That was a great pass" are not a clue for you.

and when I stopped watching to watch something else... I admitted it and asked what happened?

- Aetherial

Well, let me clue you in on what you missed: Andersen wasn't the problem tonight.

Anyone can say what they want. Matthews played okay, not great or bad. Andersen kept us in the game a lot longer than what we should have been. Plain and simple-this D is not an NHL lineup. They need to trade if they want to win, I'm not so certain they want to win. Babcock needs to acknowledge that Marincin and Hunwick can not be on the ice.

I'm just glad I'm at the point where stuff like this is hilarious rather than frustrating. We all knew they'd probably be poop this year. Fun to watch though.

I find the 3v3 pretty exciting. I just remember that leafs crunch under the slightest bit of pressure and prepare for a loss with 3 tequila shots before it starts.
Beer just wouldn't cut it.

It's ok....but a point for it...not a fan.

Nobody talking about the great pass that Nylander made btw.
That was a beauty

- MaximusAurelius

It was, so was the pass from Marner to Bozak that he couldn't handle. Incredible pass actually

Just calling it for what it is.

No, you are being an ass. You're pissed.

Go back and read the comments and tell me I wasn;t watching, and then see if you can identify where I stopped watching and did not post any more comments until other people let on what happened.

Then, when you realize you are being an idiot. STFU. We are all pissed at this loss. Get over it.

I agree with this too. I'm hope Lou will soon realize that this D core is garbage and do something about it

Sure wasnt solution either, he did not play as well as he needed to, nor did the team.

What happened to your accusation that I wasn't watching?

and how come others are suggesting he was at least partly to blame?

You can take it out on me dude, but the frustraing thing was the ridiculous loss, and the fact that now the Laine vs Matthews trolls are coming out, and none of that was me, sorry.

ya - seriously... the whining about the goaltending.... seriously Jets made mistakes in the early part of the game.. and the Leafs made mistakes at the end.

there huge upside to this types of games - the players who are exposed as week probably are...

but seriously blaming Andersen for this one... is just ridiculous - but by all means drive yourselves insane complaining about this.

I didn't find that funny at all. What is "funny" about it? Cause it happens ALL THE (frank)NIG TIME???

Good Lord, the post-debate coverage - CBC vs. CNN - is stark.

CBC: calm analysis.

CNN: partisan shouting.

He was one of them. Nobody expects a shutout from the guy but 5 goals too many. It doesnt matter any of the circumstances. 5 is too many for a goalie and it just shouldn't happen. Not to mention the 0 timely saves. Teams need a big save sometimes and he's given us none.

Its early in the season and I'm not writing him off. For the love of fuuck dont add me to the "haters" list. But he's gotta step up.

Exactly this. They don't want to win yet. They aren't ready to win. Lineup is too much of a Mish mash. Another high pick this year and I think next year will be the real start of some upswing. Not playoffs, but upswing

Matthews was fine, Laine was good. Neither are the story. Our team completely entirely fell flat on their face in the third. Laich and Prust will be welcome additions for this very reason. We need vets that can stop momentum.
