I'm glad the Yankees dumped Miller, we got a haul back for him, Frazier will be a stud.

He's been untouched on the wire for 3 days. That is what people think of him. Maybe he should get his poop together and stop shooting from the perimeter and man up.

I keep getting trade offers in my dynasty league for MacKinnon and McDavid. The MacKinnon offers aren't good enough to give him up and well, there really isn't anything that anyone can offer me that would make me give up McDavid.

Better for the Yankees when we resign Chapman.

the Indians say thanks for "dumping" him on them...that said, frazier was their top prospect so the yanks did well...

kinda weird typing that the Indians gave up prospects to the Yankees for a top player

I gotta find a good dynasty league. but yeah McD is simply untouchable. it would take a big package of players and maybe some 1sts for me to think about it.

gus has a long climb...derek grant is the new toy and is getting a lot of attention while Girgensons is in bylsma's doghouse...

lots of attention being paid to grant on the pk because he still hasn't scored a goal at the nhl-level...gus has four shorties, btw

- Michael Pachla

Gus has a long climb back, but I think he has looked a bit better this year vs last year. Grant is that new toy, but he will lose his luster if he doesn't start producing. I saw a couple good plays out of him on the penalty kill, but outside that I haven't noticed him. Not sure why Girgs would be in the dog house already especially after getting a pretty nice goal there, but you're right his playing time is very low.

I guess the Sabres haven't allowed a PP goal yet either...that's a positive. We have looked in control on the PK.

2 out 3 games they have played are positives IMO, not bad for having Eichel and Kane out.

Right now I have one pending that I haven't responded to. I would give up McDavid, and I would get Panarin and Hedman. His reasoning is that I could use help at LW, which isn't wrong especially when you look at how stacked my centers are.

McDavid
Matthews
Draisaitl (RW)
MacKinnon (RW)
Toffoli (RW)
Monahan
Turris
Henrique

It's only an 8 team league, 30 roster spots total. I inherited this team late in the season the year before MacKinnon was drafted, so he was the first guy I actually really got to "draft." But I figure it's a matter of time before one or two of those guys end up with some sort of other eligibility anyway. Even though he's right, I'm still not giving up McDavid for that package. It's not nearly enough.

Wouldn't do that deal, keep McDavid. I have him in 2 leagues and 1 is a keeper league.

I believe it stems from last year when he didn't seem to get bylsma's system and Bylsma didn't seem to know where to put him in the lineup...gus is getting time 5v5 but no special teams play to speak of

Oh, I don't plan on it. That's for sure. The same guy offered me Stamkos and someone else (can't remember who anymore) before the season started for McDavid and I told him no. I've already said that McDavid is a non-starter. If his name is part of a deal, the answer is automatically going to be no, so don't waste your time.

They apparently didn't get the hint because I keep getting offers for him anyway....

The thing is, he wasn't bad defensively last year though. If I'm not mistaken his +/- was one of the better ones on the team. He just really struggled offensively.

I get that teams have systems most of the time and all that, but sometimes you have to let a player go out there and use their instinct, and that's where Girgs thrives. He's too worried right now about ending up in what Bylsma considers to be the wrong place that he's lost who he is and what he's good at.

Luckily I don't have him. Though I could afford a loss at this point. I'm 6-0. Thought I was going to lose this week, but David Johnson pulled out the W for me. I do have Eddie Lacy, though he's been on my bench for the most part because I have Johnson and Murray has been outperforming him all season. Still have Tevin Coleman and James White as well.
