Hat tricks are flukey things. Jack's got at least one 4 point game. That Boston game right after Christmas. Matt Barnaby was not a good offensive player, at least not in today's game and he had at least one. The one I remember was a playoff game vs MTL. Granted the 3rd goal was an empty netter, but he made a nice move to get it.

Same thing with shutouts, Jocelyn Thibault had way more than you'd think considering he was never really "The Guy" anywhere.

I think the original run was the best. The stuff in the middle wasn't great, but the past few have been pretty solid. There was something about it before when they literally recorded their audio in a closet, had no budget for animation, everything was kind of ad hoc, now they're this huge thing with millions of YT subs, with offshoots into gaming news and talk shows. Hey, good for them, but it just doesn't feel the same.

I think Kulikov is on the 3rd pair now because I don't think McCabe is quite ready for top pairing yet, Kulikov and Bogo are the same player. And Gorges on a pairing with Franson is just asking for disaster with that footspeed. So Kulikov is stuck on the 3rd for the moment.
