I'd like AA a lot better at about $3.25m per year. Obviously PAK has chemistry but you need a center who can consistently get at least 50% for a line with the two best scorers on the team. I think the Blackhawks are going to need cheaper options at a few positions to add more breadth of talent.

If AA can hover around 45℅ on FO, then that's fine. Again, FOs have minimal impact on possession (it may seem the opposite of how it should, but all studies done show this). A lot of good faceoff guys are bad possession players (Stoll, Vermette, etc). Kruger is typically a good possession player no matter his FO% because he wins other puck battles and transitions excellently. It would help more on the PK, but the main issue with that is the passive box bs they're employing. Once Desi is back, they'll have more options on the PK for FOs.
