I don't think he could do further damage. He's not a fat-ass like a certain goalkeeper.
- Pairo11

There's a lot of damage you can do when you come back early I don't care how bad this team is doing they better not rush his ass to make us fans feel better

We can't be THAT stupid...can we? I think they'll take their time, have to protect him at all costs. Still looking forward to him being back around Christmas time, nice little present for Sword Fans.

I just hope they're not as dumb as the bills with Sammy Watkins

Has anyone been following this year's draft class? How is it shaping up in comparison to previous years?

it's not gonna be much of a competition with Patrick he's heading shoulders the best player coming out of the draft he's tier 1 the rest are tier 2

I would basically say it's like the Patrick Kane Draft no one will take him down

It will be a real tough call if Eichel takes until Christmas or longer to come back and we're at the bottom of the league at that point. I can see the team wanting to show some growth for the remainder of the season, but blowing a good pick and rushing Eichel back is just dumb. I wish there were a few top tier guys in this draft, no way we'll ever win the lottery.

Foligno (the dad)

and I purposely posted that in the last thread before reading any other posts...then see me and Homie were almost identical.

Dawe
Grosek
Mike Wilson
Warrener
Rasmussen
Hamel
Kalinin
Heinze
Dixon Ward
Geoff Sanderson

Oh wait, my TOP 5?

Hasek
Mogilny
Briere
Peca
Rob Ray, only because I couldn't decide on some of the older guys and guys like Zhitnik, LaFontaine, and I know I'll catch a lot of poop for this, but Miller. And one thing Rob Ray was as great at, if not better at than the aforementioned was getting you out of your seat.

I can agree on the PK part. But at even strength he is not playing well.

13 min a night with half his starts in the offensive zone should result in a point or 2 or some decent possession of the puck. However, I can see him playing well in the future in that role

- sbroads24

Haven't you heard? Zone starts don't matter.

Fasching's goal last night was nice. Showed some speed. That PP looks downright nasty. Great movement and gets the puck through to the net.

Up until this point sir, I would have defended you for the abuse you take.

You're now officially a red headed step child to me.

Yeah obviously got the hop in order to break free, but did that and then put it right where it needed to go...nothing overly fancy, just good hockey. Sparks was playing for the Toronto Tankaleafs last year and played well when we played him so that wasn't a gimme either.

I've heard everything from potential Calder winner (not happening) to AHL Top 6F for Fasching, will be interesting to see where he ends up. That goal certainly looked like a future NHL forward's goal to me.

Was odd the way GMTM went after him in the trade .Some thing we weren't used too. Seemed pretty determined to get him on this team.

I'm 28 so little different than you old coggers (while I really respect a lot of the old players like Gare, Lala, Housley etc), my Top 5:

Hasek
Peca
McKee
Pommer
Miller

Bottom 5:
Peters
Ehrhoff
Leino
Satan (I hated the "finger phone to ear" call me stuff)
Weber-last on the list only because he was an excellent person...lousy hockey player
