Please tell me what is the greatest thing about it ?
I will wait .. - GERBE!!!75PTS
I have a family, it's a family based system. That's really all.
It's also the first console/handheld system. IF, and that's a big IF when you consider the Wii U, they pull it off it puts them in a very interesting market.
The Wii U's problem was that it was woefully underpowered and third party software developers didn't want to develop for it, and that killed their product offerings.
Heck, with the Wii even developers didn't like to develop for it because they had to "dumb down" their games.
Given the fact that the third party developers are on board, and it's portable, AND it will play all 3DS games, I think they've got a pretty good chance at success.
What Nintendo does VERY well is launch it's own games, that keeps people like me coming back no matter what. Games like Mario, Zelda, Metroid, and even Star Fox keep Nintendo fans, like myself coming back.
Mario is approaching 40 years old and somehow Nintendo is able to crank out a popular fun game.
I don't know how they do so many iterations on that game successfully but they do. |

Was odd the way GMTM went after him in the trade .Some thing we weren't used too. Seemed pretty determined to get him on this team. - cabin
McNabb is a tough pill to swallow still, we'd probably be a better team as it sits right now if you took it all back. At the same point, kid has some skill and some jam. |

I'm 28 so little different than you old coggers (while I really respect a lot of the old players like Gare, Lala, Housley etc), my Top 5:
Hasek
Peca
McKee
Pommer
Miller
Bottom 5:
Peters
Ehrhoff
Leino
Satan (I hated the "finger phone to ear" call me stuff)
Weber-last on the list only because he was an excellent person...lousy hockey player - RhinoFan
Nice list |

Boy I didn't even think of Vesey. I'll always dislike him from now on you're right. I suppose he'd have to be really successful in NYC to warrant a top 5 for me, but I flashed at that.

I was right there with you on that trade when it happened. Funny story, I worked as a warehouse supervisor during that trade. Some of my guys were hockey fans, one drove an order picker, it's a man up equipment, I told him he had to take me up as high as it would go, so I could jump off face first.
I love that stay at home, nasty defensemen, with a pretty hard shot as a bonus.
Fasching better turn out well, cause D LO better not be the best piece of that trade or we got hosed. |

I user to like you sir, USED to.....
P.S. Before you call it garbage, wait till you see it. Worked at BBY when the Wii came out in a warehouse, we couldn't get them in fast enough to supply customer's demand. And THAT system hardware wise was significantly behind it's console generation competitors and BLEW them out of the water.....
THEN the Wii U happened. But I still bought one....Bought Yoshi's Wooly World today, my 4 year old LOVES it..... |

I like the Sabres. Vesey skipped on my team. It's enough for me. I get that it was his right to do so, but he snubbed my team for another. I was very excited for him Jack and Reinhart.
Edit: I understand the rules, but if one of my buddy's teams was going to acquire my rights and I knew that wasn't where I was ending up I'd make it known somehow. I don't buy that this was impossible or that he had to wait until 8/15. |

Nintendo aims toward a family type genre. teenagers are more geared towards the military sims and sports. 2 dif types. |

I'm not saying it's garbage for you I'm saying it's garbage for me Lol Nintendo has been the third best system for the longest time ever there like behind times ...
and let me get me something off my chest they're all about fitness and interactive right ? in their commercial they have the guys stop playing basketball to get to their poopty little screen and play each other .
And let's talk about that battery power you're telling me that battery is going to last at least five hours they're full of crap there is no way that battery will last that long with how bright that screen and the memory ..
Commercials like this put blankets over peoples eyes so they buy the product of course and people don't look at the flaws
Nintendo and all that stuff is great for kids and families so they can interact with each other if I have my guys over the house do you think they're gonna want to exercise and play those type of games? They want to play call of duty and just chill and relax |

Yep, I have a PS3, kicking around getting a 4 but honestly the older I get the less I play. Shooters are getting boring and repetitive. Right now in my Play Station......NHL.........14. Pretty sad really.
But I picked up Xenoblade Chronicles for Wii U, and today Yoshi's Woolly World, the whole family can play. |

I agree, they have to deliver. If they don't, their innovation won't matter.
What I like about Nintendo, they're willing to try something new. Sure the Wii U was a massive failure, but, it laid the ground work for Switch.
That's what I'm excited about, X Box and PS, their model is upgrade their processor and hardware.
Nintendo says, let's do something NO ONE else is doing. They try. They had VR a LONG TIME ago, sure it's no where near what it is today, but nobody was thinking that at that time.
I like creativity and innovation over just suping up the previous generation system.
But the other system's lack of creativity also leads to their success, reliability. You know what you're going to get with either of those systems, and what types of games for hard core gamers that's what you want.
I'm in a different market as an old fart. |
