I don't even know what to think about the Bills anymore. At 5-2 they could have taken there licks from Seattle and NE and still be very in the playoff picture.
When they are 4-5, they will need another 4 game run - sbroads24

effff the bills
I expect a lot of moves this offseason - homiedclown
I considered hopping back on the Bills wagon last week but couldn't get both feet to jump. I think I'll wait it out. I think they'll win on the bye week.

From what ive seen the ducks are in a bit of a golisano era sabres. he wont put them over the league cap but they have a team budget cap that will force a move or 2 - yen6d1
They have .3mil in cap room
Lindholm reportedly won't sign for less than 5.5mil
Regardless of their budget...
they need to make at least two moves just to fit him under the Cap

I really don't know how they are gonna fit Lindholm
Blows my mind that a team hasn't signed him to an offersheet yet
I really wish we would - jdfitz77
Believe it or not, there's a lot of teams that are pretty tight in terms of cap space. Might be that the teams that have legit interest or that he would want to go to don't have the room to make it work.
Don't forget, Trouba is still sitting around as well.

GM's are staying away from offer sheets. And it certainly won't happen now with the season under way and most teams set with their rosters. In addition, many teams are near the cap or their budget cap. The only way you a team gets Lindholm now is through a trade.

But there's a HUGE difference between Trouba & Lindholm
Trouba wants to be traded. And if someone signed him to an offersheet, the Jets have 10mil in Cap room & could easily just match.
With Lindholm...
the Ducks have essentially zero Cap Space.
If he signed an offersheet & they wanted to match, they'd have to trade Fowler AND another significant salary to make room
And they wouldn't be able to take back any salary
And they'd get very little return bc teams would know they're desperate
The Ducks are in a horrible spot
I don't really see a way out of it that's ideal for them
Their best chance at a good return is probably trying to trade Lindholm
And I know offersheets are taboo for some reason
But I'm still surprised no one has taken advantage of the situation they're in
Again... I wish we would
Lindholm seems like the perfect partner for Risto
Opportunities like this don't come along often
