They've been in every game. No more getting out shot 19-1 in the first. Losing sucks but getting outclassed is worse. For image reasons alone we need to be better at shootouts. We were great at shootouts from 2008-2012, and we never won poop. But the extra wins give you that warm fuzzy feeling.

I might be the only one that wasn't freaking out about Nilsson playing tonight. And I don't blame him for any of what happened tonight. Yes, I'd like for him to have been a bit better in the shootout, but when your guys don't score at all, it's not his fault either.

Our SO stats last year were abysmal. I see this year might not be much different.
