The team needs to learn how to shut the door in a situation like that. Good teams do that, this team needs to learn how to do that.

Bylsma needs to keep the pedal down in that situation also.

I agree. Theyre a last place also ran with no defense, no goaltending, no true top line talent and a failed rebuild. Three years in, we are still in last place.

Murray and Bylsma both need to go and SERIOUS trades need to be made.

Morning Mh. On last nights game . The beer was flowing . Glad Moe is scoring like he was signed for. Now if the rest of the team would follow his lead , we would be in better shape . At least it isn't Monday.

That was a bad 3rd period last night. Getting out shot 18-5, penalty trouble and leaving Nilsson out to dry a few times, not good. I couldn't understand when the Flyers scored to make it 3-2 that Bylsma didn't call a timeout. You could see the Flyers taking over momentum of the game. Penalties and coaching were bad in the 3rd.

Nilsson was fantastic though, he might be a decent back up who can actually play about 20 games or so.

Nilsson was as good as anyone else you could have put in net . Being a good goalie is a product of stopping all shots. some nights it's easy when your able to see the puck and always in position. some shots are redirected faster than you can compensate for . Every game has a different scenario.

He made a lot of saves that I thought were really impressive. I don't think he really had a chance on any of the 3 that went in during the 3rd. Would have liked him to not drop down so early on Voracek's goal in the SO. That's my only "complaint" and really, if we had guys that could score in the SO, it might not have mattered.

Bylsma deserves some blame, but there are still gaping, glaring, holes.

Still don't have a goal from our blue line
Still don't have a goal from Reinhart
Still getting massively out chanced
Still very slow


Eichel is going to help tremendously, but logic says we will have other injuries by then
