Agreed, but at the same time, it's just one of those things where, rightly or wrongly, he's going to get blamed if they don't achieve

I absolutely think he's a good leader. He just has that air of maturity beyond his years about him, like it's something he's trained for his whole life. He's a pure professional. I get that he's so young and there's a stink about just giving your stars the captainship, but why delay the inevitable? He was also captain at the World Cup and pretty much everything else he's ever done his whole life. He's the lifeblood of that team on and off the ice. Like Toews or Landeskog or Crosby, he's just one of those rare types who can wear the "C" so young.

Love how JoJo just demanded the ball during the last handful of possessions. And he (frank)ing delivered. Even the final foul, that's an aggressive lane drive that you have to love -- needs to work that in more than just the iso jump shots. He just absolutely wanted it late though.
