My favorite is "we're on pace for 16 wins". That's about as meaningful as saying Moulson is on pace for 64 goals.

He was able to get us into last thankfully, nothing we can do about the lottery and nobody will complain about the ROR deal. But I'm not sure how fine of a job he's done. If this season continues to trend downward, I'd like to think he'll attempt to do something sooner rather than later especially if the Lindholm thing continues to drag out.

I understand the frustration, but unless your plans are to go deep into the playoffs, you don't make major changes now because two of your top forwards are injured.

It is important to remember that the expansion draft does have a role in who teams are willing to trade for. Players you want to protect, NMCs, expiring contracts all are factors. Who on our team now could we move for anything that will help?

Yup, its only a bad move if the expectation is that either one of them can be. Otherwise it just means the building isnt done yet. This isnt the part that should worry fans. The worrying part would be when its finally put together and looks good on paper but doesnt translate to wins. Thats when you should be worried.
