the two highest picks we have had in 30 years....a franchise defenseman signed for 6 years....a frnachise goalie settled on......two MONSTER trades made to bring in TOP LINE talent....and four defenseman brought in.....(bogo, Franson, Gorges, Kulikov)
and a scoring winger free agent that was over paid for to finish the job...

sounds like its done to me...

this rebuild has failed....

Time to start over....if we are in last place WITH Eichel, Reinhart, Okposo, Risto, Lehner, Kane, and OReilly....

Considering their full lineup hasn't played yet and its game 6, I see no need for this time to dismantle the lineup already.

That doesn't mean he expects the turnaround to be immediate.

"When you tear it down, it doesn't happen overnight," Murray said. "I want to rebuild here properly, which takes time. But it doesn't have to take years."

I stand corrected on the 5 year comment, but he did also say it wouldn't happen overnight.
He's had two drafts so far and less than a season and a half.

I think risto, mccabe, kulikov, bogo, and either franson or gorges with 1 piece is needed


problem is most assets were traded away for that piece

It cant have failed if it was never completed to begin with. When they put the product on the ice and claim greatness and then it falls short then you can say it failed. Most of us didnt even expect playoffs with a healthy lineup. There are no delusions about where this team is at and what it needs going forward. I like the Core they've built so far...but its not done, it doesnt have the required personnel to be considered done.

EICHEL IS SUCH A BUST THIS YEAR. ZERO POINTS!!! WHAT THE HELL????


But at least he's an even 0 in plus minus.
