Sure they are in the press box with injuries. Plus I still want an upgrade over Ennis... |

If you can get that Bossy cheap, do it.
Anything more than $12 and you're investment market is diminished.
Unless you really, really want it. |

I think the Girgensons thing is a little bit of can he play a system? Will he give me the effort I saw when he "made" the All Star team? What can I get for him?
For all we know Girgensons was out the door and Murray decided against it the last second, or that he signed him to a cheap contract with the hope of moving him and was planning on it until he lost 2 top 6 players?
The thing is Murray isn't sold on him. I can't fault him for giving him a prove it type contract. - Stripes77
I'm not saying I fault him for keeping him. I probably would do the same. However, if it turns out to be the wrong choice, it definitely falls on me, regardless of whether I inherited him from a predecessor or not. I made the conscious choice to keep him around, not my predecessor. |

Girgensons hasn't been awful, but he did injure Eichel in practice...
The thing is there are a lot of unknowns at the moment with this roster. |

We have not seen this team on the ice with a full healthy roster. Add Kane and Jack and how would it look ? |

I get what you are saying, but he signed Girgensons to a $1.15M one year contract.
His other options were to walk away or trade him.
Walking away would have been idiotic, and I have no idea what he would have received in a trade, but I suspect it would not have been much.
What he did was the absolutely proper decision.

Yes, but he also could have walked away or traded him for a small return, and then filled his roster spot in some other way (Free Agency, another trade, waiver claim, etc.). I'm not saying Murray made the wrong decision. I'm just saying the notion that he had not choice but to make that decision is false. A GM's job is to find a way to make it work. |

I only back read the past 3-4 pages, everything beyond that is old and the conversation has moved on, but then again, most of the conversations on this site are old and sort of pointless. |

I believe in a perfect world Foligno and Gionta would be on the 4th line.
Larrson as well.
It was pretty clear he is unsure what to do with Girgensons and had Ennis been healthy last season I don't think he would be on this team especially with how he made a play for Vesey.
Moulson isn't an issue this season so far, Foligno has been fine. Grant playing the PP is just wrong but there is nobody else. Nylander isn't ready, Baptiste, Bailer and Fasching aren't yet either.
I just don't get all the complaining. The only MAJOR hole is on the top pairing. - Stripes77
If we start to win. NO one will.
Me and you both agree next year is the year to fully go for it. Things need to really start to gel this season. |

I still think people will complain...
But you and I are in agreement next year is the year, however without Eichel and Kane not much gelling will take place until Christmas time yet again |

Can't find news on him being waived . Did find article where Hitchcock has been raving about his practices and he should get back in the lineup tonight after being a scratch last three games. |

I've actually been reading the rumors and post on this site since 2005, but in 2012 my account was suddenly locked and I could not recover or change my password to get back in. I had to open a new account. Did anyone else ever have that problem? |

Yup.
Mine was the same. Then I went away for a little bit and created this one. Haven't had issues since. |
