As bad as McDonald has been he isn't getting much help defensively from Ghost,who aside from skill level with the puck there's no one even close when he has the puck, defensively he sucks, if he doesn't have a good stick breakup he never wins a battle.

I wouldnt say that. They came out pretty nicely, that one goal was just poop coverage by Mac. Goal two to me Mason should have. Its seems they have good moments, but they have been sloppy in the early part of the season I've seen.

Konecny is a wonderful player to watch. Provorov... Not good yet by any means but give it time.

Well that exactly right. Ghost isn't going to be the main defensive force on a pairing and nor should be be. He needs to start skating with the puck and using his skills where they can be used having a reliable d partner.
