happens without fail. I think the only ex Flyer who is a complete bum that hasn't scored against them has been Ben Eager. - PLindbergh31

Besides the nightmare that is Andrew Macdonald....their best players all had rough games...not sure what the deal is....but that is hard to watch. |

This team is awful and may draft in the top ten. Being a team that never quits means your a team that is often losing. Macdonald must have pictures of Hakstol and Homer. How can Hakstol play him over Schultz? Schultz is no prize but not a skating turnover waiting to happen like Macdonald.
Who cares if Giroux has a lot of assists. How many are primary? He needs to score.
Watching this team is a waste of time at the moment.

Watching Andrew MacDonald play whatever it is he calls hockey is an affront to all my senses. It makes me think that life isn't worth living.
Good on him for scoring, and good on him for being directly responsible for 3 goals against, with extra bonus bad plays added in for good measure. |

Don't worry, kids. Come January, this team will be lights out and claw all the way from 13th place to clinch 8th on the last day. Then they will be gassed and get swept by Tampa.
Think of the revenue from those two home playoff games! |

He gets handcuffed by perfectly good passes. He's the most interesting defenseman in the world.

I thought MacDonald had a very poor game, and his play is trending backwards in a hurry, and he deserves to sit for Schultz. One question though, on the Yotes first goal, the McGinn goal, who was Gostisbehere covering, when he left MacDonald at the front of the net, between two Yotes? |

He gets equal blame on that goal. He was sloppy in his own right tonight. |

Gostisbehere has two choices there. He can hustle back so MacDonald can cover McGinn on the far post, or he can get to McGinn . He did neither, leaving his defense partner out to dry. Just so there is no confusion. I want MacDonald out and replaced by Schultz. Schultz may not be great with the puck, but I don't think he'd make the mistakes that MacDonald has been making the last few games. I have far more issues with MacDonald for the early turnover almost leading to a goal, and for the Hanzal goal, where he took a very poor position, on the outside, leaving an easy center drive and tap in goal for Hanzel. Manning also came back to Earth tonight, but he gets a pass for how he has played overall. |

I missed the entire game, but this sums it up pretty well I guess. |

The entire team is poor defensively, as a whole.

I agree, Gsotisbehere is having a very poor season, both with and without the puck. Some want to blame it on his defense partner, who has his own issues to clean up, but the informed know better.
