Adam Larsson is so pedestrian. Hall is a thoroughbred. |

72 is another beast...a beast that needs to be signed. Also, another reason 15 is worth much more than 16. |

All things equal I certainly want 72 back, but the team just doesn't have any money. I do think Kruger needs to be moved, that along with a few others falling off may get the Hawks to where they can sign Panarin.
AA is still junk in the circle, but I will freely admit he has been awesome in the first 8 games of this season. I think he has been the teams best player after Crawford. |

The amount of puck possession and offensive opportunities 72 creates....he should be priority #1. As impactful shift after shift as 88 on most nights. Where does the offense come from without him?? |

I don't know what priority 2 would even be. It's not like the Hawks will have a plethora amount of new room. Someone has to go to get Breadman resigned and Kruger is the perfect candidate. I think Moose can replace what Freddie gives the Hawks. Love Freddie, but it's time. |

Because we have very little depth at center. AA is at center because no one can replace him...also despite his limitations in the circles, he's a very good center. |

True, but isn't easier to find a center than a #1 LW?
(I'm glad I am not a GM) |

A top 6 center versus a Top 6 wing? I would think finding the center is harder. The Hawks almost scored on 3 potential (and available) top 6 wingers in Vesey, Hudler and Yakupov. So those guys are potentially out there. I'd like to see Q stay with this lineup for a while....it was a dumpster fire in the first two periods, but got better later.

The difference between last years mediocre season and this years haphazard start is... The Hawks have been to come back late in the game which was not the case last year. That is a one of a few bright spots so far the Hawks this year. |

I don't know what the future really holds for this team, but scraping up these mostly ugly wins is actually impressive. You gotta think as the team gels developing that chemistry and the young guys start to settle in the team will play better and more consistent overall games. I think the upside of this team is still very much unknown at this point, but winning games like this is a good sign. |
