Have you watched the last 2 games? They have been awful. IMO it falls to some degree on the HC. But having said that Murray will not fire Bylsma. - mhp
Didn't see last nights game
We had the Philly game won if not for 2 dumb penalties under 4min to go
We're only 6 games in
And 4 of them we coulda/shoulda won
Obviously we didn't,
So I get ppl being upset
But let's not overreact either |

He likes big players and Ennis is not that, not saying Ennis is a bad player but just maybe it's time for him to move on. That can be said for a few more players as well. - SABRES 89
Ennis would thrive on that Dallas team |

That's why I don't have 100% faith in Murray right now. Whether someones a stat guy or an eye test guy they can see he isn't playing the level he's supposed to be. - chilliard77
I have no idea what kind of team Murray is trying to build. Are we a big team? Are we a possession team? Are we trying to get faster? It looks different (never good) every game |

I hate to say this but Bylsma is not the guy that should be coaching this team, John Tortorella is, he's fiery and doesn't take on crap from anyone. Doesn't matter who you are, how much you make or if you wear a letter, bring it every night and you play. Disco Dan isn't that type of coach, he is very reserved. |

Its gotta be size. Opening day roster was 2nd biggest(heaviest?) in the nhl. |

The sad reality is a Ennis - Jack - Rhino line would have been a force......i don't think we'll ever see it |

Probably realized a balance is perhaps more ideal. Although Id hold off on that as he could trade all 4 by tomorrow |

i dont think he needs great players on his line, but at least average, e.g., 2014 Sabres |

Yeah and passed on Brown, so it can't be size either. I don't know what he values in players |

I wouldn't mind Trouba, but we'd need to move Bogosian if we got him. He's upset with Winnipeg for not getting enough ice on the right side. |

Bogosian for Trouba C5 - chilliard77
I'd do Reinhart for Trouba and Roslovic. |

Sitting out 80% of a season with what he had to deal with. Quality of life threatening issues. Takes a lot out of you. i speak from personal experience. I wouldn't surprise me if it took 60 games before he completely found his legs again. He had a dynamite 2nd period last night though. That spin move he made. Wow. It wasn't a lazy spin like we've seen him do in the corners, that was in the open ice and we got like 3 high-danger scoring chances out of it. |

I had my pool won until Rich Mother(frank)ing Gannon threw that pick 6. I was screaming "Tackle him!! Tackle him!!" lol. Cost me $250, well that's what I would've won. I only spent $20 on 2 squares. Ended up -$20 instead of up $230. - Wetbandit1
love me some Derrick Brooks, a true pro. |

Babcock took over Scotty Bowman's team though. He didn't draft Lidstrom or Datsyuk or Zetterberg. I know there was at least one guy between them, but all the super high end guys were all Bowman's picks. Like when John Gruden went to Tampa, he took over Tony Dungy's team and won with it. Although the same could be said for Bill Callahan taking over Gruden's Oakland team and taking them to the Super Bowl against Gruden in Tampa.
My point is if Bylsma gets no credit for the players he had Babcock shouldn't either. They both had stacked teams at the same time, both won a Cup against each other in back to back years. Either Bylsma isn't getting enough credit or Babcock is getting too much. - Wetbandit1
I don't think Bylsma gets enough credit. Good coach. But can only work with what he has. If the players aren't good enough, the results won't be

EDIT: that mother (frank)er has plenty of talent at his disposal......the talent is just too busy passing back to the goalie on the 3 on 3 or playing defense for an entire period while trying to defend the most dangerous lead in hockey |
