If I wasn't on my smartphone I'd post Pics of my kids with my pitties. Well one of mine passed in January but the girl who is still with us is straight up a third parent.

When all other plans crash and burn I end up taking my ex gf that I don't even like to a Halloween party... She is pale and gorgeous but good god she is a scary mess inside.

I really do attract the worst... Must be because I'm also a complete cluster(frank).

They used to call them nanny dogs. And now you have major cities that ban them.

I guess the one thing that really bugs me is the timing for which he chose to be aggressive.

Rather than allow for natural growth of players and then re evaluate later he kind of just turned a bunch of them into a few nhl pieces which on one hand speeds up the rebuild but only if you get it right (as in what you get back is better than what you give up).

So the timing there gets me because this off season he was fairly timid and almost dare i say darcy like with his moves. Solid draft on paper, Kulikov+Asplund is good value and Okposo is good up front. But wheres the big move to put them over the top? Wheres #2 on the blueline?

You're willing to spend a ton on complimentary players months before actually getting eichel but you're shy about moving them for what you would assume if hes done it right would be the final piece to the core? Just my .02

When I'm gone and cant be brought back, I'll let my family decide what to do with the body. What our families do with our corpses is only something to help them manage grief.

So burn me, put me in a box, send me out to see on a flaming raft, or leave me for the buzzards - whatever makes them happy.

I'll be OK no matter which they choose.

The only real way to gain wisdom is through time. People sometimes believe, mistakenly, they can shortcut the process by bending their minds. It can be fun, but its also very dangerous, and it doesn't work: there's no substitute for time.

When I was a young bumhole, I got on this kick trying to shortcut time mixing whiskey and Valium. Eventually, they wound up pumping my stomach and restarting my heart.

After the OD, I was disappointed to find out I was still an bumhole, and no wiser. But I learned what it means to really love a friend, I grew a real appreciation for the great work done in hospitals, and I learned that sometimes the things we fear most aren't really all that bad.

That's "one OD."
