I'm noticing Willie and Matthews are very similar skill-wise. The big difference I see is that 34 does things pretty much effortlessly, while 29 has to work a little harder to do them.

Kapenen Matthews Nylander would be too fast.

And I think Matthews natural strength is on a whole other level.


I like the fact that Willie and Marner haven't conceded anything to Matthews.

Just watched yesterday's game (tough to avoid the boxscores during the whole day )

Leafs played a very good game.
Even Gardiner played really well (although the first goal he was just standing around).

Was one of the best games Leafs played so far; the PK a bit too static though.. (although 4 on 3 is tough to be that aggressive).

Leafs deserved a point.
And I thought Nylander deserved a penalty shot (or at least a penalty for Petry) on that breakaway play (was a clear hook I thought).

Tonight's an important game to get first away win
