I'm saying not all players develop at the same speed, and that since he doesn't turn 21 for another week. And he hasn't regressed in terms of points scored. Let's give him some time to find his game. Not every player on every team is playing amazingly. Thomas Vanek, one of the best Sabres of the past 15 years went cold, a lot, I'm sure you could find 12 game stretches where he had 4 SOG total and was -5. And there were some where he scored 10 goals and 4 assists and was +8. All we're saying is sample size. He had a very good, better than expected rookie season, and he seems to be struggling a bit at the moment to find his role. He's 20 (frank)ing years old. Did you have everything figured out at 20? Give it a rest man.
