Would be nice if Gorton was a little different from Sather in doing extensions mid season. Not sure what the deal with guys like Pirri are and if you can resign right now but it would be nice if he didn't end up like Pouliot and priced out of town by ufa time |

Unless another forward is traded for a D man, not sure they give him an extension. A few players in the AHL are close to full time jobs as well. Might want to stay cheap then give him a UFA type of deal. |

I think that Pirri is a RFA after this contract and guys on 1 year contracts in general can extend after January 1st |
