Throw him with new line mates the day before the season . No that won't effect his performance. Let's wait till the end of the season to declare him a bust. I know it is more fun to be a wet blanket all the time . Try not being so negative all the time . Life can't be that bad.

It means for every 60 minutes he actually plays, he averages 1.89 points per.

Basically it measures how effective you score relative to ice time.

So a guy scoring 10 goals a year averaging 10 minutes a game, is more effective than someone scoring 10 goals a year playing 15 minutes a game

However, I think the consensus was always that Sam is more of an assist guy than a scoring type, and if he's not playing with the guys who will really be his long term linemates (guys who can't be expected to bury the set-ups he's providing) I can give him a longer leash for the time being.

Fair question to ask whether he's providing the set ups or not.

They really only need to make up for the Miami loss to be right back on track. Seattle is tough to beat at home, but they aren't especially good this season on offense. Wilson is all sorts of banged up. If the Bills could ugly out a win and hit the bye at 5-4 they still have games against the Jets, Miami, Cleveland, and Jacksonville where they should be favored. They would just have to steal 1 game against the Steelers maybe without Big Ben, the Raiders, or the Bengals. I would bet they miss the playoffs if I was forced to wager, but I don't think it's hopeless just yet.

I said it's not a pipe dream...the two toughest games, imo, will be at seattle and at Oakland....

seattle just lost to the 2-4 saints and the last four wins by Oakland were against Baltimore (by one,) san diego (by three,) jax and tampa...combined record of those four teams is 11-18

No none of those thing can effect your performance . And when Sam gets in gear you will be the first to give all the credit to some other player or claim according to your analytics it is all a flook . Can you just not be such a Debbie Downer all the time . This is still a kid who can't buy a case of beer legally . Folks sure want to pile on him. I know you did not want him drafted.
