The act of rebuilding is tearing it down and using the draft picks you get from tearing it down to build a contender. Not counting those years doesnt make sense.

Solid first period. They look like they are in control and not panicking/running around out there when Minny puts a bit of pressure on them.

Technically speaking they started "adding" talent, particulary to the core and for the future the second they draft 23. They followed that months later by adding Bogo and Kane who they hoped would be part of the future so its a little longer than just the 2nd half in terms of years.


Either way im getting away from my original point, we still have just one d-man who can properly exit the zone. The others are either icing it or giving it away.
