With his 2nd GWG of the season, Johan Larsson now has seven GWGs since the beginning of 2015-16. Only 15 NHL players have more in that span. - homiedclown
Thats actually very impressive |

So playoff teams don't win games like that?
Does anyone have a Hero chart to prove this theory? |

Obviously there are games like that in the playoffs, but i think his point was you shouldnt plan on winning like that, consistently.
Its worth pointing out that they had the disadvantage of 5 d-men |

Team also played with speed the last 2 games, which is important for them. Looked like they were setting the pace. Honestly I didn't think this was that fast of a team and I still don't but they're at least playing like it. That might go to Bylsma. Defense has also done a better job at keeping things to the outside and then supporting Lehner but last night's goal against was because they didn't do it once on the PK.
Good things seen so far. Here's hoping Bailey and Baptiste can stay up for a while and start getting some points. If we could get one or both of them going on the 4th line it would help spread the lines out. |

That's just it though. They weren't winning games like that for the last few years. They always seemed to find a way to lose them. So the fact that they managed to get the win, and in regulation, says a lot, IMO. |

This part is the most encouraging for me. Really like what ive seen so far from what will more than likely be our future bottom 6 (top 9) |

I love how it was hyped up that McDavid and Matthews would be the big rivalry. What are they talking about, they'll play 2 times a year. At least we get to see Eichel v Matthews more than that. NHL really messed up letting McDavid go to Edmonton. - Zschalberg
Eichel vs Mathews Will be a great rivalry
The NHL finally has a superstar In west it seems like all the top talent comes to the east stamkos, Crosby , ov etc
The west finally has a Crosby , ov now |

Seems to be fighting it less which is encouraging. They'll need him to steal a few till Eichel gets back...then he can help him steal a few. |

That's why I like Ennis in the lineup. He's been a nice addition to the speed portion |

I honestly wasn't worried about Lehner going into this season. The fact that he was able to put up a .924 sv% on a bad ankle last year led me to believe he would be just fine this year.
I'd like to know what the hell illness has been going around though. Knocked Lehner out for a week and Price out for 2. Must be a pretty intense flu bug or something. |

I think Lehner is a solid starter. I'd like to re-sign him sooner than later so we can get him for around 3-4 million instead of 5 |

Me neither really, once he gets a solid defence in front of him too i think the numbers will get even better. The NHL is lousy with this (the illness stuff). The entire environment and lifestyle is just damn near perfect breeding ground for all sorts of illnesses and even worse having them spread like wildfire. |

Im starting to get fed up with him. he seems to be hit and miss on the ice. Hes either creating a great chance or just doing something unbelievably stupid or un-necessary and giving the puck away. Either way at 4.6 mil you need more consistency |
