Don't be in disbelief, it's the same person who says AMac is a top 4 d man -- slightly overpaid though -- but Gudas isn't.
When all the prospects come up, I have absolute faith that either or both of Gudas and MDZ could be a partner for one of the young guns on a top pairing. People's expectations for "top pairing" are ridiculous. Being a true top pairing "talent" is different than being able to play on the top pair. Gudas gets it done time and again -- end of (frank)ing story. |

Dude, nobody is discounting that he's playing very well. With this said he doesn't play OT at all. Not a second. He doesn't play the power play. He's on the top pair due lack of talent on this team overall. He's there by default.
