Lines aside and you could change them up as WD has done even playing Bo with Sutter there seems to be two issues here.

1) Systems play. It's designed to be defensive and get scoring off counter like Habs game.

2) Power play only offensive strategy to score and it's not cashing in.

Results are if you get scored on first then can't play system and players are lost on what to do.

With Players supposed to create their own offense 5v5 and not executing because of line blender and pressure they are all in a funk.

A team with no true shooter or game breaker has a thin margin of error to win. Need a system for offense otherwise in the high scoring NHL of today you will get left behind.
