Not really - Martin is a guy who regularly plays PK for us, and who has good fancy stats at shot suppression over the last few years. Sending him out in that circumstance is actually quite in line with how Babcock uses his players. Assuming that it was done deliberately to "goon it up" is really quite a stretch.

Ha I've sent him play with the Islanders when they were here and he isn't the great hockey player type. Don't try pushing the fancy stats bs argument for putting on a heavy in the last few minutes of a game when the game was already out of reach. Babcock knows exactly what he was doing goofing it up.
