Healthcare alone is a major joke. Republicans talked trash about repeal and replace for near seven years but never developed a plan in that entire time? Not to mention large portions of their voting base have come to rely on Obamacare.

A conservative MLA here in Alberta just got caught Air BNB' his government provided downtown apartment on days he didn't use it and pocketing the cash. Same guy got roped double dipping on his Per Diem and meal allowance.

While reading that article I also discovered provincial MLA's are allowed to claim up to $23,000 a year in meal expenditures. Holy whistling (frank), no wonder the PC's left a debt after 44 years of rule in Alberta despite one of the largest Oil and Gas industries on the planet.

Trump isn't the problem with republicans, he's a symptom of that party's illness. Individuals may differ, but as a whole, that party cares more about winning than actually helping people. They put all their attention into data and gerrymandering so they could win more, and in many cases, use their power for personal gain. Trump epitomizes that.
