Without a doubt.
If Trump had any intent to use this to push congress to do the right thing, he would have been the one to announce it, not cower in the white house while the racist Keebler elf did it.
Maybe enough republicans will fall in line with the democrats, and do something positive... but that isn't Trump's intention. - Feeling Glucky?
oh, i didn't read it. i just went by his track record.
Honest question- do you have a source for that? - Feeling Glucky?
In no way do I claim to be an expert on this topic, but from what I've gleaned from watching the various cable news networks, it has more to do with those who were registered under DACA and were issued an Employment Authorization Document (EAD), which is pretty much all of them, as it allowed employers to legally hire them, to allow them to earn a living, pay for an education or whatever. The vast majority of the EADs were set to expire (by the previous administration) within a year of new President taking office in January of this year.
BTW, pretty much every Republican, including DJT, said they would rescind DACA if they became POTUS ...... so it was an election promise, and now a promise that is being fulfilled.

Do you have a link for the bolded?
Do you also have a link showing that they wouldn't be able to get extensions/renewals once they expired?
Because looking into your claim that DACA was going to expire anyways, the only thing close to a source I could find was a Facebook post directed at Mark Levin.
The issue here isn't that Trump kept a promise. It's that the promise was unconscionable, aimed only at attacking people who have done nothing wrong(who are, gasp, mainly minorities), and helping nobody.

"Officer, I didn't do anything wrong, i swear!"
"We just saw you shoot a guy"
"Yea, but I promised I would! Not everybody would keep a promise like that!"

NBA Hall-of-Famer Dennis Rodman said Wednesday he would like to “straighten things out” between North Korean Dictator Kim Jong-Un and the United States amid nuclear tensions.
Rodman, who has made trips to the isolation nation in the past, told a British television show that he has a history with Kim. He said they skied together and sang karaoke.
“For me to go over there and see (Kim) as much as I have, I basically hang out with him all the time. We laugh, we sing karaoke, we do a lot of cool things together. We ride horses, we hang out, we go skiing, we hardly ever talk politics and that’s the good thing,”
